Toni Payne’s Sevilla Bow To A 3-2 Defeat At Eibar.

Sevilla femenino travelled to SD Eibar to begin their 2021/22 Primera division Femenina campaign.

Super Falcons forward, Antionette “Toni” Oyedupe Payne started for her side and played all minutes as her side fell to a 3-2 defeat.

It took the hosts just 16 minutes into the game to take the lead through Arola Aparicio from a Alejandra Barnabe assist.

The visitors restored parity four minutes later through Jessica Martinez before Aparicio assisted Carla Morera to restored the lead in the 37th minute.

Aparicio increase the gap when she converted again from Barnabe’s assist in 57th minute, leaving the visitors struggling for a comeback.

There’s hope for Sevilla when Paula Nicart scored one back in the 75th minute from a set pieces cut assisted by Rosa Otermin, but their efforts wasn’t enough to force a comeback.

The game ended with Arola Aparicio brace and Alejandra Barnabe brace of assists.
