Pele Hospitalized For The Past Six Days.

Brazilian football great Pele has been hospitalized in Sao Paolo for six days due to health problems that emerged during routine examinations, several local media announced on Monday.

According to multiple reports, the 80-year-old has been kept at the Albert Einstein hospital since August 31. 

The legendary former soccer player arrived for routine tests and they identified medical problem which has not yet been revealed at the hospital where he remains under supervision ever since.

Pele’s business manager Joe Fraga said there was no cause for concern.

He told Reuters, “Full battery of tests/scans/colonoscopy/blood etc. He doesn’t do everything in one day.”

In an Instagram message last week accompanied by a smiling picture of the three-times World Cup winner, Pele wrote: “Guys, I didn’t faint and I’m in very good health. I went for my routine exams, which I had not been able to do before because of the pandemic. Let them know I don’t play next Sunday!”

The football legend gives update via his Instagram to calm his fans and the footballing world.
