Chelsea Women bounce back from opening game defeat.

The defending Champions, Chelsea FC Women bounced back from their opening day 3-2 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday with a 4-0 victory over Everton FC at the Kingsmeadow, London.

The first goal of the encounter would come through Fran Kirby who smashed home from Ji So-Yun’s assist.

Emma Haye’s side headed to halftime with a 1-0 lead, giving Everton all hope of a fighting spirit.

Last season’s top scorer, Sam Kerr doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 47th minute after capitalizing on Everton’s defensive error.

The Australian forward had her second through Guro Reiten’s assist in the 74th minute before Bethany England smashes home a powerful strike five minutes later to wrap up the day for the Blues.

The team will face Manchester United on September 26 after the International break.
