Renard’s 400th Cap Ends In Massive Win.

Wendie Renard made her 400th cap yesterday for Olympique Lyon against Dijon in a game that ended 6-0 in favour of Lyon.

The 31-year-old defender become the 7th most capped player (male or female) on Lyon’s all-time list. The record holder is Serge Chiesa with 542 matches.

Thanks to hat-trick from Signe Bruun, a double from Catarina Macario and a goal from Melvine Malard, the Olympique Lyon players honoured their captain – who played 71 minutes – with a win to celebrate her milestone achievement.
