Aisha Buhari Cup: ‘Ready to give my blood and sweat for this flag’ – Desire Oparanozie

Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie has expressed her readiness to sacrifice flesh, blood and sweat on the pitch of play while playing her fatherland.

The 27-year-old forward, sustained head cut after a terrible head collision at the end of the first half in Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Mali on Monday during the opening game of the Aisha Buhari Cup at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

The Nigerian international took to her Instagram handle to express her total commitment while thanking the medical team for a job well done.

“Fighting through in my youth, for fatherland, sweat, and blood. Appreciation to the medical team for being on deck hands on. #HeadCollision”, she wrote.
