Nigeria representatives on the CAF Confederations Cup Enyimba FC and Rivers United have learned their opponents in the playoffs of the competition.
In a draw conducted on Tuesday afternoon, Enyimba will be up against Libyan side Al Ittihad with the first leg slated for November 28, 2021, in Libya, and the return fixture set for the first weekend in December in Nigeria.
On the other hand, Rivers United will have another trip to North Africa after being paired against Egypt’s Al Masry SC; the pride of Rivers will welcome the Egyptians to begin the tie in Nigeria between November 26-28.
Rivers finds themselves in this stage after failing to oust Al Hilal in the last qualifying round of the CAF Champions League, while Enyimba had sailed past Senegal’s Dimbars FC on a 4-0 aggregate.
The winners of the two legged tie goes on to play in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
