Arsenal meticulously wore a stubborn HB Køge down in a hard fought 3-0 win at the Meadow Park on Wednesday.
Caitlin Foord opened the scoring in the 15th minute as she met Beth Mead’s cross to tap in her second goal in the group.
The visitors finally tired-out in the closing ten minutes and Arsenal pounced, as Beth Mead set up Lotte Wubben-Moy who doubled the lead with a precision header in the 83rd minute before a sweet Vivianne Miedema finish assisted by Catley five minutes later sealed the points.
The Gunners go six points clear of Hoffenheim in second and end the hopes of their Danish visitors.
