Ramat Abdulkareem on target for Ataşehir Belediyespor in season opener

The 2021-2022 season in the Turkcell Women’s Football Super League starts with matches played on Saturday, December 18th.

Kocaeli Women’s Football Club welcomed Ataşehir Belediyespo to the Gölcük Kavaklı Stadium as the visitors won 0-4.

Eda Karataş opened the scoring before Sultan’s double gave the visitors a dominant lead.

Nigerian international, Abdulkareem Ramat completed the rout to give Taner Öner girls a great start to the new season.

Atasehir are now second on the log with goal difference behind Fomget Gençlik, and will next face Besiktas on Christmas day.

The league will see 24 teams compete in two groups (A & B), and the regular season competitions will last for 22 weeks. The teams that take the first four places in their groups will play in the championship playoffs, while the teams that take the last 4 places will play-out to relegation.
