Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala scored twice on her 100th Barcelona appearance as the team led by Jonatan Giráldez thrashed Real Sociedad 1-9 on Wednesday, at the Instalaciones de Zubieta Stadium.
Oshoala has now scored 79 league goals, 18 of which have been scored this season, making her the current top scorer in the league despite being sidelined for several weeks due to injury. She is currently the sixth highest scorer in the history of Barça Femení, surpassed only by Jenni Hermoso (173), Alexia Putellas (164), Sonia Bermúdez (123), Olga Garcia (94) and Mariona Caldentey (80). She is also the second foreign player to reach her centenary as a Barça player, after the Dutch Lieke Martens, who has 152 appearances.

The Nigerian international took advantage of the defensive error to make it 0-1 in the 8th minute, before doubling her side’s lead in added time of the first half, before being replaced in the 60th minute by Jenni Hermoso.
Barcelona maintained dominance, scoring seven goals in the second half. Thanks to Fridolina Rolfö (56min), Irene Paredes (59 mins), Lieke Martens made it 0-5 in the 63rd minute.
Alexia Putellas, who has equaled Losada as the second player with the most appearances (376) made it 0-6 in the 78th minute, before Claudia Pina and Jenni Hermoso scored in the space of three minutes to give the visitors nine goals advantage.
Emma Ramirez netted the consolation goal for the hosts in the 88th minute but Marta Torrejón would score the final goal in the added time of the second half.
The Catalans with 116 goal difference top the league with perfect record of 21 wins from 21 games and will next face Athletic Club.
